Beginning this August 2007 the 4REAL ladies will be having a Craft of the Week Club. Thus far we have 15 ladies who are interested in posting the directions for a simple crafts geered to younger children, ages 4-9. This seems like a wide age range, but I think we can all adapt the craft for our families.
Here is how it will work:
- A different mother will sign up in advance for a craft week.
- She will post the directions on the 4REAL forum or simply provide a link to her blog with a craft post.
- The directions should be posted on a Monday
- Keep it simple and aim for readily available materials. Remember, most of us in this club are "craft challenged."
- It would be nice to have it fit into a feast day or liturgical season, but it certainly does not have to. Some of us may not have the resources for this.
We will start on July 30. PM me or leave a comment here for the week you are interested in hosting.

Like Alice I would be willing to take any dates to fill in as needed, but if I were to pick specific dates I would take either Oct.1 or Oct. 15. If you want us to sign up for more than one right now I would also do Nov. 5. And if no one comes forward soon for the first one I'd take that though I don't know that I have any liturgical year themed ideas. I am doing an adventure camp for some little guys here that week and I could post whatever craft we end up doing that week.
